DigiByte Foundation, a non-profit organization that oversees the blockchain platform DigiByte, has announced a strategic partnership with LCX. The exchange has also listed DGB and will implement the DigiByte blockchain.

The DigiByte Foundation has announced a strategic partnership with Liechtenstein Digital Assets Exchange LCX. DigiByte Foundation is a non-profit organization that oversees the activities of the blockchain platform DigiByte.

DigiByte already launched its blockchain platform back in 2014. It offers a decentralized UTXO blockchain network with fast confirmation times while offering scalability and security. LCX is a regulated fintech company that focuses on digital asset trading, compliant token offerings, and tokenization.

DigiByte and LCX have signed a memorandum of understanding and agreed on a long-term strategic partnership. “The top-hundred ranking blockchain now has the ingredients it needs to deliver on their vision to take their decentralized, immutable ledger platform to the next level,” says LCX in the official press release.

“The DigiByte Foundation is very proud to have partnered with Liechtenstein Blockchain Innovator LCX. Next to the listing of DGB on their platform, LCX is going to be the strategic partner for our mission to bring DigiByte blockchain technology to the next, corporate enterprise levels,” DigiByte wrote on Facebook.

What’s the partnership about?

The goal is for both companies to leverage each other’s technological and legal infrastructure. LCX will implement the DigiByte blockchain within its ecosystem, including running a blockchain node and integrating wallet support. LCX will also list the DigiByte native coin $DGB on the LCX exchange.

Another component of the partnership is a collaboration on a new ecosystem focused on enterprise and consumer applications. Both partners could deliver products and applications to corporate enterprises and consumers, with DigiByte blockchain technology embedded. LCX can provide the necessary support and resources to make it happen.

Hans Koning, Chairman of DigiByte Foundation, commented, “Brace for impact! With this partnership, we are moving one step forward towards our vision to establish a thriving ecosystem with DigiByte as the foundational layer.” LCX CEO Monty Metzger said, “We are honoured to work with one of the pioneers of the crypto industry. This alliance with DigiByte will be a huge leap towards our goal of providing innovative and compliant solutions leveraging our LCX platform.”
